In 2015 the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation named Loudoun Marines (Detachment 1205) the Region 2 Local Coordinator Organization of the Year, after audits of all 782 sites in that year's campaign. The campaign was led by the Detachment's Toys for Tots coordinators. The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors recognized the detachment and its coordinators, and Representative Barbara Comstock entered the coordinators' recognition into the Congressional Record.
